CONCHA DE PERLA

Concha de Perla (Pearl Shell) is a unique snorkeling spot on Isabela located outside the National Park. Any interested visitor is allowed to explore it without being accompanied by a guide.
If you're lucky, you can swim with Green Pacific Turtles (Galapagos turtle), Marble Stingrays, Galapagos Penguins, Tropical fish, Sea Lions, and even baby sharks. We recommend to visit this wonderful site at low tide since it improves visibility underwater.

The beautiful wooden trail going from the pier to the Concha de Perla lagoon usually has lots of sea lions and iguanas sleeping on the path. The water temperature is quite low throughout the year, so you may want to rent a wetsuit together with snorkeling masks, fins, and snorkels.

What to bring: snorkel equipment, wet suits, sun block, towels, and water.
